The Month of May

This has been the longest and fastest month ever. We have been so busy with sports, sports and sports. Skyler ended his soccer season on a good note. He enjoyed playing goalie and defender. They had tryouts again and he got picked back up with the same coach. Hopefully most of the team will be back again, we all really wanted to stay together. He had practice 3 times a week and games 2 times a week, so we were busy with him.

Drew and Nate also spent this month playing baseball. They are the funnest little kids. They were very quick to inform me that they DO NOT want to play baseball ever again. They didn't like that they could strike out and it was much to boring playing in the field. Personally, I think they are jaded because they always watch
Skyler play soccer, so they feel that is what they should be doing. But they also had two games a week, so often our boys scheduled overlaped and we had to spend a lot of time driving. Thanks to all of the family who supported our boys games this season:). I know they loved each of you being there but the absolute cutest was when Drew walked up to Jamie and said, "thank you for coming to my game. It makes me feel special." Such a cutie!! They actually did well. It was machine pitch and they usually got great hits. Almost every game was brutally cold, but then again it is spring! It's too bad they didn't like it more, after all, that is my sport:)

Memorial Weekend was great. We spent all day Saturday cleaning our yard and taking a ton of crap to the dump. So when some of our good friends asked us to go camping Monday night, after all the crowds went home, we totally took them up on their offer. We had such a great time with them and it's so nice that they have kids the same age as our children, they play so well together. A funny story about that. We pulled into our reserved campsite and a car and tent were still in our spot. So Ryan and our friend Garrick went and got the rangers to move it out. While we were waiting for the ranger, Ryan walks around trying to see if he can see anyone. He looks inside the tent from the back and can really only see sleeping bags. He walks to the front of the tent, looks through the front opening(since it wasn't closed) and whoa--the couple are naked and going at it in the tent!!! Ryan was so caught off guard, I honestly can't remember a time I've ever seen him speechless:) Way too funny!!!
