SAND Days: A New School Year

I truly cannot believe another school year has begun!! And what's even more bizarre, is that I have a 5th grader!!! Time goes so fast. Skyler has been a little hesitant about this year. I decided to pull him out of his elementary and enroll him and Drew and Nathan in a Charter school this year. Skyler hasn't been to sure about that concept. He liked his old school and friends. But Friday the school had an open house (it is a brand new school) and after that open house he became really excited. The school has uniforms, so this morning, Skyler got up and got ready. He looks so good and I personally love the ideas of uniforms. He had the hardest time falling asleep last night:) Ryan gave him a great father's blessing and I think this is going to be a great experience for him. I know when they open a school, there are going to be some hiccups, but lets hope they aren't too inconviencing. I also get to drive the boys to and from school from now on, so that is going to take a little getting use to. Thankfully, we are carpooling with some neighbors, so I'll get a little break once in a while.
