Puppy Heaven

If you didn't remember my history with dogs...we have owned 3. The first lasted for the weekend, the 2nd lasted for 2 weeks and the 3rd actually made it for 4 months...but since I was pregnant with Abbey and that dog ate it's poop I just couldn't bear the thought of that dog eating it's poo and then licking my new baby..it left.

Skyler reminds me constantly that I promised them a dog when Abbey turned 5. I really don't remember that, but I can imagine that I said it when she was a newborn and I didn't think my new baby would ever be 5. Well she isn't 5, but the kids got a new dog over the weekend. With Ryan traveling as much as he does and the house 2 doors down being broken into last week, I decided I would get the dog this summer instead of next summer.

Abbey came with us to get the dog. She named him Flynn Rider. She always calls him FlynnRider, but most of us just call him Flynn. He is a yorkie/shih tzu mix...and he is pretty cute.

Skyler did ask how long we get to keep this dog.....my answer....until the kids stop taking care of it.
