A New School Year

All the kids have now gone back to school. I thought I would be really sad about Abbey being gone, but not really. It's nice to have her gone for 3 1/2 hours a day! Now I'm definitely not ready for her to be gone all day, but half day is doable. Nathan and Drew started first. They went back a week before Skyler and 2 days before Abbey. So far the little boys have really liked school. They missed their friends and are excited to get to see them again every day. Skyler sure put on a good game face that he didn't want to go back, but even he came home and realized how nice it was to see his friends again. Abbey, well who knows. That girl won't tell me anything. Any question I ask I get a one word answer back and it's generally, "no". Did you learn a letter today... "no", did you play with anyone today..."no", did you go to recess today..."no", tell me the name of a friend you have met..."no one", those are our conversations. However, according to the teacher, she has plenty of friends and tends to hang out with the boys:) So far school is great:)

The funny thing with Skyler, is he tried to change his hairstyle. He didn't want to spike it anymore. So many people at school commented that they missed the old Skyler, so the next day, he was back to his original hair style:)
