I have wanted to pierce Abbey's ears for several months now. But everytime I ask her if she wants them pierced, she adamently tells me "NO EARS!!". So I haven't done it. Today I went downtown with my sisters, sister in law, and my mom to let the kids play in the fountain. After we ate lunch and were heading to the fountain, we passed an ear piercing store. With all the moral support there with me, we went in and did it. Boy, Abbey was not happy. She was pretty good while they cleaned her ears, gave her a sucker and marked her ears, but she knew something was up. Anyway, the girl did the first ear and she freaked. We tried to get her to calm down, but to no avail, so I just said go ahead and finish. It looks great and just so you know, she calmed down within minutes of being out of the chair:) She looks so cute!!
In the picture with Abbey carrying a bag, notice what the bag says. She loved that bag and wouldn't let ANYONE touch it. I think she was about to take Drew's head off because he tried to help her with it and she thought he was taking it. We made it to the fountains and the boys had a good time.
Way to go! Abbey looks super cute. Better to pierce them now then when she's older and gets scarred by it :)
