A Week of "Firsts"

We have had so many first's these last few days.

First day of second grade for Drew and Nathan. My how time does fly. We decided to put them back into the same class this year and so far, I love it. They also claim to love it, so we will see how it goes.





First day of school for little Abbey. She is so happy to be going back to her "apple" school. She has talked about it for almost a year now. I pulled her out of that school last October and she has wanted to go back every day since. She had such a great first day and looks forward to being there.





First time Skyler has gone to the Temple and done Baptisms. He has wanted to go since he turned 12, but I have not felt well enough to take him. His friends keep asking him to go, but I wouldn't let him go until I took him his first time. So on Tuesday we finally went. He absolutely loved it and wants to go again very soon! He is such a great kid!!




Then, it was Skyler's First day of JUNIOR HIGH...really...is it really possible that my baby Skyler is old enough:( I tell you, it is a struggle for me to see my children get older and older. We went to his school a few days early so he could practice his locker and I made him let me take a picture of him, that way I wouldn't follow him to school and take a picture on the first day. Skyler had such a great first day and informed me that their are "many, hot girls" at his school!
