Ryan got to go to Russia. What a neat opportunity for him. When he was getting ready to leave, I asked him if he ever thought he would go to Russia, and his reply was, "No, never." He had to go there for business, but I just think it is a great experience and lucky that he works for a company that offers him opportunities like this. I must admit I'm a little jealous...he doesn't have to make meals, clean the house, care for the kids, shovel snow.... oh wait, I mean...he gets to see Russia:)
Anyway, he said it was so cold there, he stepped off the plane and his lungs felt it. One day it was -7 degrees farenheight. He said they work much slower there (dinner usually took him an hour and a half...for three people and only 4 others in the restaurant). Of the people he encounter, very few spoke english, so that was a challenge. But still, getting to see a new country for free, you can't beat that.
